Schrobenhausen – As the BAUER Group announced in a press release on October 31, 2023, the Group's IT infrastructure was the target of an attack. Despite the considerable security measures in place, unknown persons managed to access the company's servers, with the result that various company systems were shut down or switched off as a precautionary measure on October 30, 2023.

Bauer immediately called in experts who are working at full speed with the IT department to find solutions.

Over the last few days, our companies have been receiving inquiries regarding the security of email communication with Bauer companies. We would like to emphasize the following:

The security of e-mail communication with the companies of the BAUER Group has not changed compared to the situation before the cyber-attack! There is no increased risk.
