Menteroda - On August 24, 26 young people started their training at SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH and SPESA Spezialbau und Sanierung GmbH in Nordhausen. Six of them are being trained by Schachtbau as mining technologists, six as construction mechanics, five as metal technology specialists, two as machining mechanics and one as an electronics technician for industrial engineering. SPESA Spezialbau und Sanierung GmbH is also pleased to have six apprentices who will soon be supporting their colleagues. They are training to become bricklayers, carpenters or reinforced concrete workers. During the welcome week, their path led them to Menteroda, among other places, where they were warmly welcomed by Schachtbau managing director Michael Seifert on August 26 in the showrooms of the former mine.

In addition, seven young people will begin their training in the construction trades of construction equipment operator and special foundation engineer for BAUER Spezialtiefbau GmbH on August 29. Their training location is also in Nordhausen. In 2022, 33 apprentices will thus start their careers at Schachtbau Nordhausen.

Schachtbau Nordhausen has been training skilled workers since 1954 and can look back on a total of over 2,500 trained specialists. Since 1992 alone, when Schachtbau became part of the BAUER Group, the company has trained 580 young people to become skilled workers.
