Nordhausen - Young people who are still looking for a suitable apprenticeship are being offered interesting apprenticeship positions by the employment agency at three training fairs in northern Thuringia at short notice, together with the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the district craftsmen's associations. On July 12, the first Corona-compliant training fair took place in Nordhausen in the parking lot of the Employment Agency. From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., exhibitors from the skilled trades and the care sector as well as the Chamber of Industry and Commerce and the Employment Agency presented themselves to the visitors. Schachtbau Nordhausen also took advantage of the opportunity to make contact with potential applicants shortly before the start of the next training year. Around 30% of visitors to the stand submitted their application documents to Schachtbau. Mining and construction professions were in particular demand.
