Dresden - In honor of Friedrich Hermann Poetsch, the inventor of the freezing process, who was born on December 12, 1842, a delegation of Schachtbau miners and representatives of the Nordhausen Miners' Association laid a wreath at his gravesite in Dresden yesterday. In 2010, Schachtbau took over the sponsorship of the grave site of Friedrich Hermann Poetsch, whose invention revolutionized mining at the time and formed the foundation stone for the founding of Gebhardt & Koenig, today's SCHACHTBAU NORDHAUSEN GmbH.
