Bremerhaven - On October 23, the first of the two superstructures of the railroad overpass over Cherbourger Straße was shifted into final position by SPMT. The single-track superstructure is designed as a steel truss with a roadway below. The so-called truss trough bridges, each with a span of 68.16 m and a bridge width of 6.16 m, will be equipped with external walkways.

At 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, the shifting of the 350 t bridge structure started with the transport of the superstructure from the pre-assembly site 500 m away by SPMT with shoring via Cherbourger Straße. At around 11:30 a.m., the superstructure reached the installation position and was then moved into the final position under the supervision of Benedikt Jagelski and Dominik Pein.
 
Shifting of superstructure 2 (east) is scheduled for the end of August 2022.
