Nordhausen - Every year, the SCHACHTBAU Group offers numerous training opportunities in the fields of metalworking, electrical engineering, mining and construction.

On September 1, 19 apprentices started at Schachtbau, and the following training positions were filled:
• 8 construction mechanics
• 1 metal technology specialist
• 2 cutting machine operators
• 1 electronics technician for industrial engineering
• 2 carpenters
• 1 bricklayer
• 4 special civil engineers

During a detailed onboarding in the first three days of training, the career starters receive an overview of the training company and its operational structures, as well as their work clothes and the obligatory initial instruction in the area of occupational safety and health.

For the SCHACHTBAU Group and the BAUER Group as a whole, initial vocational training is a key pillar in ensuring a sustainable, long-term supply of skilled workers. With this in mind, all apprentices have the opportunity to establish themselves as skilled workers with a wide range of professional and personal development opportunities in the long term after successfully completing their training.
