“In Schachtbau’s technical office, I am responsible for the design of mining equipment for a variety of shafts and mine structures. In this role, I have also designed engineering structures such as bridges and the repair of retaining walls under monument protection.

I came to Schachtbau – my father’s former employer – right after completing my studies, and the work is still exciting thanks to the wide variety of projects.

My son is also a trainee at Schachtbau. So we’ve been working with the company for three generations already.”
