Plant engineering

Based on the company’s longstanding track record in the implementation of large scale turnkey projects and the traditional knowledge in the areas of structural engineering and steel, pipeline, and plant construction, Schachtbau completed its initial environmental technology projects in the years from 1991–1993.

In 1994, it established its own specialist department in response to the steadily increasing demand for water treatment services such as sewage treatment plants and pumping stations. This has been part and parcel of our company ever since and, in 2016, became integral part of the mining and plant engineering division. Today, we provide a broad range of equipment for water, waste water, and pit water systems.
