Optimizing working conditions - a constant task

By means of regular inspections and measures, Schachtbau constantly ensures that work on construction sites is made more attractive and health-friendly. At an SBN construction site, application engineers from partner company HILTI worked with shaft builders to test the battery-powered tool range under real working conditions. The aim was to make the physically difficult work easier and at the same time safer by using suitable aids and tools. Thus, various tools to make work easier were subjected to the critical tests of the construction site personnel.

For example, the exoskeleton, which stabilizes the back during overhead work and limits risky postures, offers an enormous improvement. It promotes good posture and ensures professional movement sequences. The practical tests revealed extensive potential for optimization, so that the tested devices were included in the construction site equipment.
